Your
Japanese Dream
is one step closer.
Jobs in Japan require two very distinct styles of résumé:
- 履歴書 (Rirekisho) is your standard Japanese résumé — your personal details, education, and career basics.
- 職務経歴書 (Shokumu Keirekisho) is your detailed work history — highlighting your skills, experience, and achievements.
Upload your existing Resume in any language, and get both ready in one click.
PDF, Word (.docx), plain text, JPG or PNG — a photo of a printed Resume is fine — up to 5 MB. You can also drop it on the button.
Converting a résumé needs an account, so you will be asked to sign in first — your first résumé is free. Creating one from scratch needs no account.
Upload one Resume. Get both documents.
One is 履歴書 — your personal details, education, and work history. The other is 職務経歴書 — your work experience, what you did in each job. Written in a way that Japanese employers expect. Get both, ready in the correct Japanese resume format.
The standard résumé form (履歴書)
One A4 sheet with the cells in a set order: your name and how to read it, date of birth, address, photo, then every school and job as a dated row, your qualifications, and a short paragraph on why you are applying. Nothing can be moved, renamed or left out — this is where most foreign applicants get sent back.
The career history (職務経歴書)
A short summary of your career, then one block per employer: what the company does, what you were responsible for, and what came of it. The layout is up to you; the conventions are not. This is the sheet a hiring manager actually reads before deciding to meet you.
Try it with your own Resume.
